Marshall Scarberry

Marshall Scarberry, 77, of Proctorville, died Monday, Feb. 6, 2017, at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington, West Virginia. A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Rome Cemetery, Proctorville. There will be no visitation. Elder Wilson

Elder Loren Wilson, 66, of Willow Wood, died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2017, at The Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington, West Virginia. He is survived by his wife, Mary Jo Campbell Wilson.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Mt. Pleasant Freewill Baptist Church off Greasy Ridge, Chesapeake, with pastor Darrell Fowler and pastor Roger Smathers officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville. Mary Plybon

Mary L. Plybon, 91, of Proctorville, died Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2017, at Heartland of Riverview, South Point. She is survived by her husband, Robert O. Plybon. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Schneider-Hall Funeral Home, Chesapeake. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery, Proctorville. Visitation will be noon-2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Samuel Alvin Fields, 70, of Huntington, West Virginia, died Monday, Feb. 6, 2017, at his residence. He is survived by his wife, Linda Layne Fields. A celebration to his life will be 4 p.m. Saturday at Community of Christ, Ironton. Visitation will be from 3-4 p.m. Saturday at the church.
