Many times, we hear the negatives facing Lawrence County and the region, and have become all too familiar with the phrase “Nothing good is happening in our communities”.
However, many great things are happening in our area, and The Tribune’s annual Profile edition in today’s Sunday paper is an example of that.
Much, if not all, of this annual publication features several people who work to make our community a better place to live.
This yearly publication is a large task that necessitates hard work and dedication from each of our 21 employees at The Tribune. And this project would not be possible without the continued support from the loyal advertisers who serve our communities, the dedicated newspaper carriers and certainly the support from you, the loyal readers, throughout Lawrence County and surrounding areas.
This project is certainly a labor of love that we start in October each year, and without all those pieces coming together, this special publication wouldn’t be possible.
In the end, the goal of our Profile edition each year is to highlight the people and businesses that look to make our region a great place to live.
We hope that you enjoy reading this year’s edition as much as we enjoy continuing to provide it to you each February.
