South Point (12-5, 6-4) scored twice in the second.
Henline singled and scored on a double by Douglas Shaffer. A wild pitch moved Shaffer to third and he scored on a squeeze bunt by Drew Smith.
Portsmouth got its run in the fourth when Vincent Schwamberger got a one-out single, stole second, took third on a passed ball and scored on an error.
The Pointers answered with two runs in the bottom of the inning.
Henline doubled, Shaffer walked and Logan Rose sacrificed the runners up a base. Elijah Adams then delivered a two-out, two-run singled
On Wednesday, South Point hosts Ironton to finish a suspended game and to play the regular game. Portsmouth hosts Rock Hill.
