Today’s Ironton City Council meeting is going to feel like a re-run of the last meeting.
On the agenda, are the same four items as on the April 27 meeting; amdending the city budget, setting the salary for the finance director, paying for the repair of a roof at the city water filitration plant, and subleasing space on the cell tower.
At the last meeting, all four items were sent to the finance committee so the members could discuss the ordinances before they go up for council’s vote.
The finance committee is meeting at 5 p.m. to discuss the matters. The council meets at 6 p.m. and then after that, there will be a public utilities committee meeting to discuss a water tap being installed for property that is being developed.
The Ironton City Council meets in council chambers on the third floor of the Ironton City Center.
