PINE GROVE — The rain clouds stayed away and that allowed the Ironton Ladies Nine Hole Golf Association to storm the golf course.
The women were on the course again last Tuesday as the group continued their weekly event.
Following a brief business meeting that featured breakfast treats, hostess Sharon Fox set up the events.
Following golf, and prior to lunch she announced the winners. Among the winners were: Pat Lambert, Margaret Donley, Joyce Lewis and Pat Riggs.
The Ladies’ Nine Hole Association made an adjustment on starting times. The business meeting will begin at 9 a.m. followed by tee times at 9:30.
Couples Night continues on Fridays with each couple ask to bring an appetizer.
The group is always open to new members. However, persons do not have to be a member of the Ironton County Club to be a part of the Ladies Nine Hole Golf Association.
This Tuesday’s hostess will be Wanda Spears.
