PINE GROVE — If golf had a hat trick like hockey, Pat Lambert would be wearing the visor.
Lambert won three events during last week’s Ladies Nine Hole League Association’s Tuesday meeting at the Ironton Country Club.
Pat Riggs served as hostess and served breakfast treats. She then told the golfers of the day’s events and sent them to the course.
After golfing, the group met for lunch and Riggs announced Lambert as the big winner while Sharon Fox also had a win.
On Tuesday, May 24, hostess Wanda Spears set up the golfing competition and announced the winners: Sharon Fox and Margaret Donley.
The group will meet for play on Thursday at 9:30 a.m.
Also, Friday evening is Couples’ Night with a 5:30 starting time for nine holes of golf. There will be appetizers following play.
Next Tuesday’s hostess is Pat Lambert. A brief business meeting will be held at 9:30 a.m. followed by golfing at 10.
