Justin Sharp

May 6, 1964 — May 31, 2017

Justin Dale Sharp, 53, of Pedro, passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2017, at the St. Mary’s Medical Center-Ironton Campus. He was born May 6, 1964, in Ironton, the son of the late Paul Keith and Loretta Jane McFann Sharp.
Justin graduated from Rock Hill High School in 1982. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, root digging and raising live game.
Justin is survived by a son, Justin Dale Brown; a daughter, Bailey Sharp; one brother, Paul Keith Sharp Jr., of Ironton; two sisters, Gina (Dale) Depriest, of Kitts Hill, and Ann (Tony) Dillon, of Pedro; four nieces, Kelli, Barber, Tara Mays, Paula Little and Elizabeth Large; great-nieces, Tabbi Miller, Savannah Little and Jorja Little; a nephew, Rhett Dillon; great-nephews, Silas Little and Zaylor Little; along with several aunts, uncles and cousins who loved him dearly.

Carl Malone

Carl Franklin “Archie” Malone, 80, of Ironton, passed away Sunday, June 4, 2017, at the Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital in Russell, Kentucky. The Coal Grove native was born Aug. 21, 1936, a son of the late Archie Lee and Mildred Jane Salyers Malone.
Archie was a 1953 graduate of Dawson-Bryant High School. While in high school, he was a member of the football and baseball teams, and liked to tell the story of how he was the first to score a touchdown on the new Coal Grove football field. He served in the United States Navy before attending Morehead State University, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Education . He retired in 1987 after teaching drivers education and history for 30 years in the Rock Hill School District. He never met a stranger and was well known for his greeting “Say Bud”
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Archie Lee Malone; a grandson, Justin Leon Adams; a brother, James Malone; and a sister, Helen Malone Miller.
He is survived by a daughter, April Malone Chambers, of Crestview, Florida; three grandsons, Tyler Steven Chambers, of Destin, Florida, Brady Lee Schneider, of South Point, and Aidan Joseph Gearheart, of Crestview, Florida; a great-grandson, Brody Leon Adams, of Ironton; three sisters, Nancy Adams, of Gainesville, Florida, Eloise Compton, of Florence, South Carolina, and Norma Jean Frecka, of Ironton.
Funeral services will be 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Tracy Brammer-Monroe Funeral Home, Ironton, with Bro. Chad Pemberton officiating. Visitation will be 4 p.m. until the time of the service Wednesday at the funeral home. Military rites will be performed by the V.F.W. Post #8850. Frances Noble

Frances Louise Noble, 74, of South Point, died Sunday, June 4, 2017, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, West Virginia.
A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Walnut Hills Church of the Nazarene, Huntington, West Virginia.
