PINE GROVE — When they say LeBron James can do it all for the Cavaliers, Margaret Donley fully understands.
Donley was doing it all on Tuesday with the Ladies Nine Hole Golf Association of the Ironton Country Club.
Donley served as hostess and served breakfast treats. She then announced the events and joined fellow members on the golf course.
When golfing had finished and the ladies were eating lunch, Donley announced the winners and got to include her own name.
Donley joined Pat Lambert, Joyce Lewis, Dora Carmon, Wanda Spears and Rose Auble as event winners.
Next week’s hostess will be Lewis.
The Paramount Ladies Golf Tournament will be held Aug. 14 at the Bellefonte Country Club for any members who are interested. This is an 18-hole tournament.
The club meets each Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. for a brief business meeting and breakfast treats. After golfing at 10 a.m., the group gathers for lunch and winners are announced.
The club is always accepting new members and women do not have to be a member of the Ironton Country Club to join the Ladies Nine Hole League.
Also, Friday evenings are Couples’ Night with a 5:30 p.m. starting time for nine holes of golf. There will be appetizers following play.
