James Ritter

James Henry Ritter, 90, of Ironton, died Thursday, Aug. 3, 2017, at his home. He was born June 19, 1927, at Ohio Furnace, a son of the late Henry Ritter and Ethel Long Ritter.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Esther Ritter, Mary Miller, Mildred Slaughter, Josephine Miller, Joseph Ritter, Rosa Klaiber and Leonard Ritter.
He was retired as a mechanic for the Fannin Toyota, Lincoln-Mercury garage.
Survivors include his son, Rick (Deborah) Perkins, of Ironton; two grandchildren, Rick James Perkins, of Ironton, and Deidre Perkins, of Ironton; a sister, Margaret (John) Sanders, of Ironton; and a great-granddaughter, Kelisa Blevins.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, with pastor Gary Arthurs and pastor Danny Hankins officiating. Burial will follow at Buckeye Cemetery.
