Portion of County Road 5 to close for repairs

KITTS HILL — The Lawrence County Engineer’s Office has announced a road closure for the next two months.

County Road 5/Oak Ridge Road will be closed at the 0.17 mile mark north of State Route 141 from Tuesday, Sept. 5 through Oct. 29.

Work is being conducted to repair for damage from a landslide.

Motorists heading heading north to County Road 5 are told to use State Route 93 to County Road 29, which will junction with County Road 5 about three miles north of the closure.
