Billy Lambert

Nov. 2, 1932 — Sept. 13, 2017

Billy Ross Lambert, 84, of Ironton, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2017, at his residence. The Oak Hill native was born Nov. 2, 1932, the son of the late Arch T. and Icy Mae Woodruff Lambert.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Dulcy Kay Smales Lambert, who passed away on June 6, 1999.
Mr. Lambert was a 1952 graduate of Oak Hill High School and U.S. Army veteran, serving in the Korean War. He was a former dispatcher for Armco and AK Steel, where he retired after 38 years of service. He was of the Baptist faith.
Billy is survived by a son, Duane (Kris) Lambert, of Maysville, Kentucky; two daughters, Dulyce Kelly, of Palm Harbor, Florida, and Deedra (Mike) Keller, of Wheelersburg; a sister, Patsy Brannigan, of Wellston; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Ted Simpson

Ted Ray Simpson, 91, of Crow City, died Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2017, at home. He is survived by his wife, Friday Simpson. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, by Minister Karl Huff. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery, Proctorville. Geraldine Jerri Webb, 85, of Lesage, West Virginia, died Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2017, in Worthington, Kentucky. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Schneider-Hall Funeral Home, Chesapeale. Carolyn Sue Martin, 69, of Chesapeake, died Thursday, Sept. 14, 2017, at home. There will be private family services. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville, West Virginia. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, is in charge of arrangements.

John Childers

John Norman Childers, 93, of Proctorville, died Thursday, Sept. 14, 2017, at home. He is survived by his wife, Opal Childers. Arrangements are pending at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville.
