Voters in local precincts in Lawrence County rejected two alcohol sales options on Tuesday’s ballot.

An option for sales at Speedway in Proctorville was defeated, 59 to 41 percent. An option for Sunday sales at the same location was defeated by a wider margin, 68 to 32 percent.

Meanwhile, voters were evenly split in preliminary results on sales at Sam’s Club in Burlington.

The option had 93 votes for it, 93 votes against it.

Provisional ballots remain uncounted.
