Christmas Extravaganza planned for Dec. 9 in South Point
The third annual Christmas Extravaganza, hosted by People for the Point and South Point Schools, is planned for Dec. 9.
Activities will take place from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. at South Point High School.
Pancakes with Santa are planned from 8 a.m.-noon, with musical entertainment by the South Point students.
A craft show is scheduled from 8 a.m.-3 p.m., with more than 40 crafters and vendors already registered.
Children’s activities will include inflatables, crafts and games, with movies from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. A showing of both the animated version of Dr. Seuss’ “How the Grinch Stole Christmas,” as well as its feature film adaption, starring Jim Carrey, will take place at 1 p.m.
Tickets will be pre-sold for $5 each, or will cost $6 on the day of the event or $5 and a can of non-perishable food. Children 4 and under can eat for free.
The event is open to the community and all are welcome. All proceeds will benefit future events hosted by People for the Point
