PINE GROVE — Now that’s the way to go out.
The Ironton Ladies Nine Hole Golf Association held its end of the year Guest Day with members and guest competing in the final events of the season.
Event winners on the day were Pat and Jim Riggs, Margaret Donley and John Lutz, and Burl Bunker and Betty Fraley.
Also attending the affair and competing were Pat and Doug Lambert, Rose Auble and Marty Lewis and Wanda Spears.
The women’s golf group offered thanks to Burl and Lynn Bunker not only for their work decorating for the event and creating a festive fall ambiance, but also for all their work throughout the golf season with meticulous attention to their special events.
While the group is finished with the on-course events, the Ladies Nine Hole Association still has one more event this season. The annual Christmas party will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 12, at the Bellefonte Country Club.
The event begins at 11 a.m. and members are reminded to bring a passing party gift. Gifts will be exchanged during lunch.
The group added a special thanks to club chairman Pat Lambert for all her work preparing the golf agenda throughout the season along with assisting others club officers and the weekly hostesses each Tuesday morning.
New members are always welcomed and club members do not have to be members of the Ironton Country Club.
