Rita Schneider

Rita A. Schneider, 60, of Chesapeake, went home to be with the Lord following a brief illness Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2017. She was born Oct. 11, 1957, in Huntington, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Bernard and Patricia Simmons Schneider.
Rita attended church at Christ Temple Church in Huntington, West Virginia, and was an office supervisor for WV American Water Company.
She is survived by a sister, Julie (Brian) Freeman, of Chesapeake; two brothers, Mike (Diane) Schneider, of Chesapeake, and John (Lois) Schneider, of Willow Wood; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point. Burial will follow at Getaway Cemetery, Chesapeake. Friends may visit from noon-2 p.m. before the service Sunday. Everett Jenkins Sr.

Everett Donald Jenkins Sr., 84, of Kitts Hill, died Thursday, Nov. 30, 2017, at a local health care facility. He is survived by his wife, Gloria Y. Crace Jenkins.
Graveside services will be 12:30 p.m. Monday at Highland Memorial Gardens with military rites provided by VFW Post 8850 and Bro. Mike Fyffe officiating. Mary Ruggles

Mary Ruggles, 67, of Ironton, died Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2017, at home. She is survived by her husband, Homer L. Ruggles.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, with the Rev. Dale Knipp officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery, Ironton. John Eric Daniels, 62, of Iroton, died. He is survived by his wife, Debra Ferguson Daniels.
