Dorothy Webb

Feb. 25, 1940 — Jan. 3, 2018

Dorothy Jane Webb, 77 of Columbus, formerly from South Point, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2018, after a short illness. Dorothy was born Feb. 25, 1940, a daughter of the late Scott and Clara Elkins Webb.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Webb. Dorothy attended South Point High School and recently retired from Riverside Methodist Hospital after 48 years of service. She was a member of Sheridan Methodist Church.
Dorothy is survived by four sisters, Mary McComas, of Columbus, Armana Irvine, of Barboursville, West Virginia, and Patricia Hawthorne and Jeanie Malone, both of South Point. She is also survived by many nieces; nephews; and cousins.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Sunday at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, with the Rev. Roger Pierce officiating. Friends may visit from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Ashland Cemetery, Ashland, Ketucky. Cecil Lees

Cecil S. (Teek) Lees passed from this earth to the arms of Jesus Christ our Savior on Dec. 26, 2017, in Tampa, Florida.
Teek was born on Feb. 16, 1945, to Geraldine Boggs and Howard Lees. He and his brother were adopted by grandparents Cecil and Bertha Boggs.
Teek is preceded in death by his mother; grandfather; grandmother; and his loving wife, Janice.
He is survived by brothers, Clyde (LeeAnn) Lees, of Billings, Montana, Rob (Beth) Caines and Pete (Debbie) Caines; and sister, Dee Caines (Terry) Maddox, all from Ashland, Kentucky. Teek is also survived by his former wife, Ellen Walters, whose help in his final days is so very much appreciated.
Teek’s memorial service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, May 19, at Sugar Creek Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Dennis Hankins presiding. Burial of his cremains will be next to his loving wife, Janice in Sugar Creek Cemetery.
