The forensic report on a skull and femur found in the woods of Wayne National Forest in November have been identified as those of a Kitts Hill man missing for two years.
The bones have been determined to belong to Billy Harper, who was reported missing in April 2016.
The remains had been sent to Montgomery County Coroner’s Office to do the pathology and a tooth was extracted from the skull and sent to the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation for comparison to DNA samples of Harper’s that the family gave detectives in 2016.
BCI investigators called with the confirmation late Tuesday afternoon.
The remains were found in Aid Township on Nov. 25 by an out-state-hunter.
