Christine Cannon

Jan. 9, 1926 — Feb. 3, 2018

Christine Ann Koukos Cannon, 92, of Ironton, passed away Saturday, Feb. 3, 2018, at Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Kentucky. The Lawrence County native was born Jan. 9, 1926, the daughter of the late Louie B. and Mary Noble Koukos.
She is survived by her husband, Donald “Pat” Cannon, whom she married Aug. 18, 1946.
Christine was a graduate of Ironton High School and a homemaker. She was also a member of the First Church of Nazarene in Ironton.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by son-in-law, Dale Simpson; a brother, Bill (Betty) Koukos; a sister, Thurma Koukos (John) Frounfelker; and a brother-in-law, Don Mays.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Jackie Simpson, of Ironton, and Donna (Pete) Hatmaker, of Russell, Kentucky; a brother, James (Carol) Koukos, of South Point; two sisters, Mary Lou (Don) Woolum, of Ironton, and Judith Mays, of Kitts Hill; brother-in-law, Michael Cannon, of Florida; sister-in-law, Jane Massie, of Oklahoma; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Tracy Brammer-Monroe Funeral Home, Ironton, with pastor Rob Hale officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery. Betty Ann Morris

Betty Ann Morris, 71, of Chesapeake, died Friday, Feb. 2, 2018, at home. She is survived by her husband, James Morris.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, by pastor Steve Williams. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville, West Virginia. Shelba Jean Dishman, 80, of Chesapeake, died Saturday, Feb. 3, 2018, at home. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Dishman.

Brenda Wiseman

Brenda J. Wiseman, 70, of Proctorville, died Sunday, Feb. 4, 2018, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, West Virginia.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Wiseman. Arrangements are pending at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville.

Phillip Watkins

Phillip Rodney Watkins, 68, of South Point, died Saturday, Feb. 3, 2018, at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington, West Virginia.
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Watkins. Arrangements are pending at Schneider-Hall Funeral Home, Chesapeake.

Brenda Chambers

Brenda Lee Chambers, 57, of Cleveland, died Monday, Jan. 29, 2018, in Cleveland.
