Solid Waste Meeting
The Lawrence-Scioto County Solid Waste District boar of directors will meet at noon at the Scioto County Commissioners’ office in the basement of the Scioto County Courthouse.
Lawrence County Developmental Disabilities
Lawrence County DD will have its regular monthly meeting at noon at the board office.

Board of Health Meeting
The Ironton Board of Health will meet at 5 p.m. in the Ironton City Center. Meeting is open to the public.
Lawrence County General Health District Meeting
The Lawrence County General Health District will be holding its annual advisory council meeting at 6 p.m. at the Lawrence County Health Department.
Clothing Giveaway
The City Mission will be giving out clothing from 8:45 a.m.-noon. All in need are welcome to come. For more information, call 740-532-5041.

Proctorville’s village council will meet at 6 p.m. at village hall.
Regional Planning Commission Meeting
The Lawrence County Regional Planning Commission will hold its regular monthly meeting at 11:00 a.m. at the Giovanni’s in Chesapeake.

Ironton BOE Meeting
Ironton City Schools Board will have a regular meeting at 5:30 p.m. in the Ironton High School Reading Room.

Feb. 20

Dementia Presentation
The First United Methodist Church will have a presentation at 2 p.m. on the signs and symptoms of dementia and ways to cope. The presentation is by a representative from Morning Pointe. First United Methodist Church, 101 N. Fifth St, Ironton. The public is invited. Coffee, tea and light desserts will be served.

Blood Drive
The American Red Cross will have a blood drive from 10 a.m.-3:30 p.m. at Ohio University Southern’s Riffe Center, 1804 Liberty Ave.

Humane Society Meeting
The Lawrence County Humane Society will meet at 7 p.m. at the Ironton City Center.

The Chesapeake village council will meet at 7 p.m. at village hall.

The Ironton High School class of 1948 will meet for lunch at noon at the Depot in Ironton. All class members and guests are invited.

The South Point village council will meet at 7 p.m. at the STEM+M Early College High School on Solida Road.

STEM+M Informational Meeting
An informational meeting for parents and students interested in the STEM+M Early College High School will take place at the school at 6:15 p.m. Activities for prospective students will have a trivia theme.

Paws for STEM
Paws for STEM, a pet-themed event featuring a dog show, vet screenings and pet adoptions will take place from noon-4 p.m. at the school, located at 702 Solida Rd. Event is free and open to the public. Cost for entries in dog show is $5.

The Fairland Board of Education will hold its monthly meeting at 6 p.m. at the high school.
