Ironton High School presents “Cinderella” this weekend
The Ironton High School Drama Department will do two performances of the Broadway musical “Cinderella” at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday evening and at 2 p.m. on Sunday afternoon in the high school auditorium.
The story is based on the fairy tale of Cinderella, a young girl who is forced into servitude by her evil stepmother and step sisters.
Her dreams of a better life are made real with the help of her fairy godmother, who helps make her into a lady who catches the attention of the kingdom’s prince, after she loses her glass slipper leaving the ball.
Tickets are $12.50 for reserved seats, general admission is $8 and student tickets are $5. To pre-order call 740-532-4133, ext. 3767.
