After a tough loss, it was time for a nice win.
The Ironton Fighting Tigers’ tennis team bounced back from a 3-2 loss on Friday to beat the Portsmouth Notre Dame Titans 4-1 on Monday.
Ironton’s No. 2 singles player Jaxson Pleasant and No. 3 player Ali White both got wins while No. 1 player Aiden White suffered a loss.
In doubles play, Ironton’s No. 1 team of Sierra Valance and Elena Wilson and No. 2 team of Todd Davidson and Ethan Bennett both picked up wins.
Ironton plays at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday at Portsmouth.
