Rocky Hurst

July 3, 1971 — March 25, 2018

Rocky S. Hurst, 46, of Ironton, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Sunday, March 25, 2018, at Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Kentucky. The Franklin Furnace native was born July 3, 1971, a son of the late James Ray Sr. and Lennie Roach Hurst.
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Leadingham Hurst, whom he married June 25, 2005.
Rocky was a graduate of Green High School and a former operator for Green Township. He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed spending time with his family and loved ones.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Lee Hurst.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Ashley (Teejay) Seagraves, of Ironton, and Amber (Joey) Sparks, of Franklin Furnace; a son, Michael Turvey, Jr., of Ironton; four brothers, James Jr. (Jade) Hurst, Jeff (Jill) Hurst and Marshall (Sherry) Hurst, all of Franklin Furnace, and Michael (Tammy) Hurst, of Ironton; a sister, Melody (David) Mulkey, of Ironton; six grandchildren, Jenna, Landon, Madison, Skylar, Autumn and Conner; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Phillips Funeral Home, Ironton, with pastors Tony Mollett, Rick Mollett and Robert Chaffins officiating. Burial will follow in Haverhill Cemetery and visitation will be 11 a.m. until the time of the service Wednesday at the funeral home.  To offer condolences to the family, please visit www.phillipsfuneralhome.net.

Deborah Lynn Carpenter, 59, of Proctorville, died Sunday, March 25, 2018, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, West Virginia.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery, Proctorville. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the funeral home. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.ehallfuneralhome.com.

Jim Wisenberger, 87, of Ironton, died Saturday, March 24, 2018, at his residence. He is survived by his wife, Sally Davis Wisenberger.
