Lester gets first career pitching win

ADA — Ohio Northern got a plethora of outstanding pitching performances in a 4-3, 2-0 baseball sweep Baldwin Wallace on Tuesday afternoon at Wander Field.
One of those outstanding pitching performances belonged to junior Blake Lester in the second game 2-0 win.
The 5-foot-10, 195-pound former Chesapeake Panthers standout went 6.2 innings in a starting role and earned his first collegiate career win.
Lester gave up only four hits and struck out two in getting the victory and evening his record at 1-1 on the season.
The right-handed Lester has made five appearances this season including three as a starting pitcher.
He has 11 strikeouts in 21.2 innings to go with a 3.74 earned run average.
