The Ironton Fighting Tigers’ tennis team lost a 3-2 heartbreaker to Minford on Thursday.
The team lost all three singles matches but won both doubles matches.
Winners were No. 1 doubles team Elena Wilson and Todd Davidson and No. 2 team Sierra Valance and Ethan Bennett.
The team will play makeup matches at home on April 30 against Gallipolis and May 4 against Portsmouth Clay.
The sectional draw is April 29 and the sectional tournament is May 7-8.
