Ironton athletic awards
assembly set Thursday
The Ironton High School athletic awards assembly will be held beginning at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday in the high school auditorium.
The awards assembly is open to the public and community attendance is encouraged.

Rock Hill offering
free athletic physicals
Rock Hill High School and Middle School will be offering free athletic physicals on Thursday, May 24, for students planning to play any sport or to be a cheerleader for the 2018-19 school year.
Physicals will begin at 8:30 a.m. and will be given by King’s Daughers’ Medical Center.

Ironton sports physicals
scheduled for May 21
Ironton High School free athletic physicals will be conducted by King’s Daughters Sports Medicine on Monday, May 21, at Ironton High School.
Youths should check in by 11:30 a.m. No appointment is necessary. Physicals will be conducted from 9 a.m. to noon.
Athletic physicals are for student athletes and cheerleaders ages 13-19.
Students will receive a state-mandated athletic physical. A parent or guardian must be present to provide consent.

3rd annual Elks Lodge
golf tourney May 19
The Ironton Elks Lodge No. 177 will hold its third annual golf tournament on Saturday, May 19, at the Ironton Country Club.
Entry fee is $180 per 3-man team that includes golf cart, food and refreshments.
First place pays $340, second plays $180 and third place $100 for the tournament with a 9 a.m. shotgun start.

There will a split-the-pot benefit rally sold at the tournament.

Fairland girls’ youth
basketball camp set
The Fairland girls’ youth basketball camp will be held from 9-11:30 a.m. June 4-7 at the high school.
The camp is open to girls entering grades 1-7. Fee is $35 and includes T-shirt and prizes.
