Fletcher gets state meet berth

NEW CONCORD — Cecil Fletcher has his schedule for next weekend.
The Chesapeake Panthers’ senior track standout has earned his third state meet trip on four years after the first day of Thursday’s Division II regional track meet at Muskingum University.
Fletchers was fourth in the long jump with a leap of 1.04 meters.
The regional finals at Saturday at the Muskingum University. The top four finishers advance to the state meet in Columbus next Friday and Saturday.
Also on Thursday, the Rock Hill Redmen 4×800 relay team of Victor Aguilera, Ethan Miller, Eli Baker and Jasson Aguilera was 10th with an 8:30.95 time.
Fairland Dragons’ pole vaulter Robbie McFarland cleared 2-06 meters and was eighth.
The Lady Dragons’ Allie Marshall was sixth in the high jump as she clears 5-feet, 2-inches.
Ironton Fighting Tigers’ discus thrower Hunter Humphreys was 13th with a toss of 123-4.
