PINE GROVE — For the Ladies Nine Hole Golf Association, the winners were as easy as one, two, three.
The Ladies Nine Hole golfing group met for its regular Tuesday competition and the winners were Joyce Lewis with one win, Pat Lambert with two wins and Margaret Donley racked up three wins.
The day’s activities began with a brief business meeting. Hostess Pat Lambert announced the events and presented the winners during lunch.
The group’s business meetings are usually at 9:30 a.m., but due to the warming summer temperatures the group will now meet at 9 a.m. with golfing to follow at 9:30 or 10.
There were several winners for the group’s June 5 outing.
Hostess Sharon Fox announced Lana Moore with two wins while Pat Riggs, Wanda Spears, Margaret Donley, Shirley Gleim and Fox all picked up an event win.
Next week’s hostess will be Dora Carmon.
The Ringer Tournament is underway for members to post. Also, the handicap tournament will continue throughout the summer.
Anyone interested in joining the Ladies Nine Hole Golf Association is welcome and women do not have to be members of the Ironton County Club to be part of the group.
