On Saturday, for the fourth year in a row, downtown Ironton will offer a wealth of food options.

A Taste of Ironton is returning to the Farmers market, running from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Organized by Ironton aLive, the event will allow attendees who purchase a $10 booklet to obtain 10 samplings from a range of local restaurants and food servers. A free drink is included.

The region has a wide variety of dining options, and this event will allow the public a one-stop option to try many they have yet to frequent.

In addition to promoting these restaurants, the event will also draw much-needed crowds downtown and to the market for a family-friendly event.

Events like this help to showcase local businesses and show the positive side of our region.
