PINE GROVE — Some wanted to stand Pat. Others wanted Moore.
The golfers got both during last week’s Ladies Nine Hole Golf Association outing at the Ironton Country Club on Tuesday.
Lana Moore was the hostess and served breakfast snacks during the brief weekly business meeting before announcing the day’s events.
When the day’s golfing was complete, Pat Lambert had two wins and Moore also had a pair of wins.
However, there were other winners as Margaret Donley and Shirley Gleim also notched victories.
The group conducts a brief business meeting each Tuesday is at 9 a.m. and golfing follows at 9:30 or 10.
Next week’s hostess will be Dora Carmon.
The Ringer Tournament remains underway for members to post. Also, the handicap tournament will continue throughout the summer.
Anyone interested in joining the Ladies Nine Hole Golf Association is welcome and women do not have to be members of the Ironton County Club to be part of the group.
