Access for disabled needs improvement

I am writing to state that Ironton streets, not downtown, have no way that handicap people can get their scooters, or wheelchairs off the curb.
Some cannot get out of their chairs to lift it off the curbs and, therefore, they cannot go anyplace but around the block.
Also, the only store I have seen in Ironton that has scooters or wheelchairs is Pick’n Save.
That is sad.
So many people go into some of the stores and have to leave, because they just cannot walk the entire store and so many people do not have their own chairs or scooters.
It looks like there should be some in more than one store. Handicapped people need to buy groceries and other things too, and it is sad that they have to have someone who can walk to get these things for them.
