Debra Jo Stamper

June 5, 1957 — July 14, 2018

Debra Jo Stamper, 61, of Ironton, passed away Saturday, July 14, 2018, at her residence. The Ironton native was born June 5, 1957, a daughter of Edward and Mary Koster and the late Jane (Jenkins) Butler. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 42 years, Richard E. Stamper.
Mrs. Stamper was graduated from Rock Hill High School and was a barber for Stamper’s Barber Shop. She was an active member of Kelley’s Bridge Independent Baptist Church and Mt. Calvary FWB Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially playing with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed rummage sales, picking, buying and selling.
She is survived by two sons, John R. (Chasity) Stamper and James M. (Tiffany) Stamper, all of Ironton; four grandchildren, Madison Stamper, Nicklaus Stamper, Alexis Arnett and Alexis McCoy, all of Ironton; three sisters, Kimberly (Joe) Holtzapfel and Melissa (Lonnie) Campbell, both of Ironton, and Jamie Floyd, of Jackson, Tennessee; two brothers, Jimmy (Kathy) McCarty, of Pace, Florida, and Edward (Tansy) Koster, of Wheelersburg; special friend, Roger Blagg; and her dog, Lucy.
There will be a memorial service 4 p.m. Saturday at Kelley’s Bridge Independent Church, Ironton. Phillips Funeral Home, Ironton, is assisting the family with the arrangements. Jimmie Kelly

Aug. 30, 1948 — July 16, 2018

Jimmie Lee Kelly, 69, of Ironton, passed away Monday, July 16, 2018, at St. Mary’s Medical Center-Ironton Campus. The Ironton native was born Aug. 30, 1948, a son of the late James Homer Kelly and Juanita Haynes Mullins. He is survived by his wife, Clarice Schwab Kelly, whom he married July 9, 1966.
Mr. Kelly attended Hanging Rock Schools, was a former employee for the Dayton Malleable Iron Company for more than 15 years, and loved to fish and hunt. He was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Diane Spillman.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Christina (James) Christian, Anita Kelly and Sheryl (Davis) Kelly, all of Ironton; a son, Jimmy (Becky) Kelly, of Ironton; a brother-in-law, Tim Schwab, of Ironton; eight grandchildren, Andrea, Emily and Nicholas Christian, Tori and Josh Adams, and Brooklyn, Madison and Brittany Kelly; six great-grandchildren, Lexi, Camryn, Kayson, Caroline, Gauge and Layken; a special grandson, Junebug Stapleton; special niece and nephew, Melissa and Tommy Spillman; nephew, Jerry Spillman; and nieces, Martina Shope and Mylinda Malone.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Phillips Funeral Home, Ironton, with pastor Rick Sturgill officiating. Burial will follow in Haverhill Cemetery and visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of the service Saturday at the funeral home. Monte Webb

Nov. 6, 1934 — July 18, 2018

Monte R. Webb, 83, of South Point, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 18, 2018, at Harbor Healthcare, Ironton. He was born Nov. 6, 1934, in Lawrence County, a son of the late Scott Webb and Clara Elkins Webb.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Webb; and a sister, Dorothy Webb.
Monte loved camping, fishing and the outdoors. He was a veteran of the Army National Guard, Co. K, a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, Lodge 701, and a member of VFW Post 8850, Ironton.
Survivors include three children, Randall (Villa) Webb, of Oak Hill, Belinda Malone, of Oak Hill, and Monica (Walt) Howard, of Ironton; four sisters, Patricia Hawthorne, of South Point, Jeanie Malone, of South Point, Mary Alice McComas, of Columbus, and Armana Irvine, of Ashland, Kentucky; seven grandchildren, Amanda Spears, Elizabeth Szymula, Stephanie Matney, Samantha Suttle, Juanita Reed, Cynthia Malone and Scott Webb; and 15 great-grandchildren.
