CHILLICOTHE — As part of the Ohio Department of Transportation – District 9’s Planning Department, the district’s Environmental Office is seeking public input for a bridge replacement project on state Route 775 in Lawrence County.

The proposed project is to replace the structure situated at the 14.36-mile marker and located over a tributary of Long Creek, between County Road 2 (Greasy Ridge Road) and  County Road 13 (Long Creek Road) in Windsor Township. The project will require approximately 0.022 acres of permanent right of way; however, no homes or businesses will be removed as a result of construction.

Currently, a contract is scheduled anticipated to be awarded in the summer of 2019, and a closure of the route of approximately 10 days will be required during some phase of construction.
