PEDRO — Rock Hill Redwomen volleyball coach Jerry Gregg found the silver lining.
In a straight sets loss to the Gallipolis Blue Angels, Gregg saw something he liked.
Rock Hill lost 25-14, 25-12, 25-11 to the Ohio Valley Conference defending champions and preseason favorites, but Craig said his team actually played well.
“We feel like we cross over tonight. I was encouraged,” said Gregg.
Sammy Stamper had eight kills and Autumn Porter seven kills and one monster block for the Redwomen.
Ally Neal had 12 digs and Kenzie Hanshaw 10 while Gregg said setters Shay Cox and Whitney Howard “did a real nice job for us.”
Rock Hill plays in a tri-match at Wellston on Saturday that begins at 10 a.m.
