Frances McComas

Frances Louise McComas, 87, of Ironton, formerly of Athalia, passed away Thursday, Aug. 29, 2018, at Community Hospice Care Center, Ashland, Kentucky. She was born Sept. 27, 1930, in Lawrence County, daughter of the late Arnold and Alice Webb McComas.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Thelma Mae McComas; six brothers, Lawrence, James, Ronald, Donald, John and Thomas McComas; nephew, Mark Cade; and niece, Janice McComas Jameson.
She retired from Owens-Illinois.
She is survived by three sisters, Mary McCarley, of South Point, Freda (Orville) Kidder, of Kissimmee, Florida, and Susan Cade, of South Point; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Schneider-Hall Funeral Home, Chesapeake, with Fr. Charles Moran officiating. Burial will follow in Getaway Cemetery, Chesapeake.
