Ironton Hall of Fame
banquet set Oct. 13
The Ironton High School Athletic Hall of Fame will have its induction dinner at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 13, in the high school cafeteria.
Tickets for the dinner are $10 for individuals and $15 for couples and can be purchased at the door.
This year’s induction class includes consists of Mandi Boykin, Joe “Bubby” Fletcher, Hal Spears, Keith Stowers and James Taylor.

SP basketball benefit
golf outing Saturday
The South Point Pointers boys’ basketball program will sponsor a golf scramble Saturday, Sept. 22, at River Bend Golf Club on State Route 1 in Greenup, Ky.
Registration begins at 7 a.m. with shotgun start at 8. Two teams will go off at same hole.
Donation cost is $60 per person and three-man scramble rules apply. There is a 30 team limit.
Fee includes carts and lunch. Cash prizes for first and second place teams.
There is a $30 teams skin (optional) — all par 3. This game offers a chance to double your money ($5, $10, $20)

meeting set for Sunday
The Ironton National Little League will conduct its annual general membership meeting and board of directors elections at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 23, at the little league complex.
Any member in good standing with the league is eligible for election to the board.
Each year the ILL elects five members to the Board of Directors for a three-year term (unless elected to an unexpired term).
Anyone interested should contact a board member no later than seven days prior to the elections.

will be held on Sunday
The Coal Grove National Little League baseball/softball elections will be at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 23, at Dawson-Bryant High School.
Any board member in good standing is eligible for re-election.
Anyone with questions is asked to please contact a board member.
