Redmen soccer blanks Ashland, 6-0

PEDRO — The defense was unblemished and that kept the Rock Hill Redmen loss column unblemished.
Rock Hill remained unbeaten in soccer with a 6-0 shutout of the Ashland Tomcats on Monday.
Rock Hill remained unbeaten at 9-0-2 and is currently 6-0-2 in the Ohio Valley Conference.
Victor Aguilera and Jake Blagg led the Redmen as they combined for five goals and five assists. Aguilera had the hat trick with three goals and a pair of assists while Blagg scored twice and had three assists.
Dakota Fugett scored the other Rock Hill goal while goalkeeper Kaleb Kidd had six saves.
Ashland goalkeeper amassed 18 saves.
Aguilera and Blagg had goals as Rock Hill took a 2-0 halftime lead.
Aguilera scored twice to begin the second half before Blagg scored and then Fugett got a goal at the 62:36 mark.
The Redmen have some tough games ahead — all on the road — as they play Lucasville Valley on Monday, Fairland on Tuesday and Minford on Thursday.
