Pancake breakfast set for Saturday at SPVFD
SOUTH POINT — A pancake breakfast will take place on Saturday at the the South Point Volunteer Fire Department.
The meal, which begins at 8 a.m., will feature an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast with bacon and eggs and will cost $8.
According to Matthew Van Winkel, with the department, this is the first fundraiser of its type in five years and all proceeds raised will go to the South Point Firefighter Association.
He said there will also be door prizes awarded during the event, including a free enrollment in a conceal carry weapons class.
