The Rock Hill Redmen and Fairland Lady Dragons came away as the Ohio Valley Conference cross country champions this season.
Rock Hill won its third straight OVC title behind the running of Ethan Miller who was second overall with a 17:23.43 time.
Portsmouth’s Aiden Kammler was the individual champion with a 17:10.53 time.
Rock Hill had just 28 points with runner-up Fairland getting 55 points. Ironton was third at 102 followed by Portsmouth with 121, Gallipolis 125, Coal Grove 152 and South Point 165.
Fairland won the girls’ meet with only 27 point followed by Rock Hill with 40, Gallipolis 67 and Ironton 92.
Fairland won the title on the strength of the running of McKenna Pannell with a 20:23.34 time and Emma Marshall who had a 20:24.19 clocking as they took the top two spots individually.
