ROME TOWNSHIP — Hospice of Huntington and The Wyngate at RiversEdge will partner again for their annual Veterans Day ceremony at the senior living community.
The event will take place on Friday, beginning at 1 p.m. at the Wyngate, located at 7694 County Rd. 107 in Rome Township and is open to the public.
The ceremony will include officials from both Hospice and the Wyngate, as well representatives from Lawrence County government offices and U.S. Rep. Bill Johnson’s office.
The Fairland High School Choir will perform as well as a salute from the Proctorville VFW Honor Guard.
Light refreshments will be served following the ceremony. The Wyngate has several veterans, from World War II and later conflicts, among its residents who take part in the event each year.
