Redwomen fall to Lady Oaks

OAK HILL — It was Oak Hill too early and too often which proved too much.
The Lady Oaks got their offense going on their home court from the opening tip-off and built a big lead as they downed the Rock Hill Redwomen 69-22 on Monday.
Oak Hill led 28-8 after the first quarter as Olivia Clarkson scored 12 points and Caitlyn Brisker 10. Rileigh Morris had seven points for Rock Hill.
Kasey Riley hit three 3-pointers in the second quarter as the lead grew to 46-18 at the half. Morris had four of Rock Hill’s eight points.
The Redwomen (2-9) only managed a basket by Savannah McGraw in each of the third and fourth quarters.
Brisker finished with 24 points, Clarkson 14 and Payton Crabtree 10 for the Lady Oaks (12-2).
Morris finished with 11 points and McGraw six.
On Thursday, Rock Hill hosts Gallipolis.
