PORTSMOUTH — It’s possible that people are going to start thinking that Kendall Dodgion’s real name is First Place Dodgion.
The Ironton Lady Fighting Tigers freshman swimmer now has eight first place finishes in as many races this season.
Her latest two victories came Wednesday in the Ohio River Conference of Aquatics championship meet held at Shawnee State University.
Dodgion won the 200-meter individual medley and the 100-meter freestyle.
The meet was comprised of teams of Northwest, Portsmouth River Valley, Green, Portsmouth West and Wheelersburg.
Wednesday’s victories came on the heels on last week’s wins in the 100-meter butterfly and 100-meter freestyle.
Last week’s meet including teams from all the previously named team except River Valley.
