Kelly (Mahlmeister) Soule
Aug. 31, 1964 — Jan. 8, 2019
Kelly (Mahlmeister) Soule, 54, of Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2019, in Penn State Hershey Medical Center, Derry Township.
She was a retired registered nurse with Pinnacle Harrisburg Hospital and a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland, where she was past PTO president for St. Theresa Catholic School. Kelly was a graduate of Marietta High School, Marietta, where she was All-State in both track and volleyball. She attended West Virginia University on a track scholarship, and earned bachelor of science in nursing from Wheeling Jesuit University, Wheeling, West Virginia. She earned her master of science in nursing from Villanova University, Villanova, Pennsylvania, and was awarded the Florence Nightingale Award as the most outstanding nurse in the state of Pennsylvania. Kelly was a devoted hockey mom to Michael and loved to watch him skate.
Kelly was born in Ashland, Kentucky to M. Patrick (Pat) Mahlmeister, of Ashland, Kentucky, and the late Patricia (Kelly) Mahlmeister.
She is survived by her husband of more than 31 years, George E. Soule; her son, Michael E. Soule, of Camp Hill, Pennsylvania; and her siblings, Amy Mahlmeister, of Lemoyne, Pennsylvania, and Michael Mahlmeister, of Ironton.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5 at Holy Family Catholic Church with Fr. D. Andrew Canon Garner, KHS, as celebrant. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. with the Knights of Columbus leading a Rosary service at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, Coal Grove, immediately following the funeral mass with Fr. David Huffman presiding.

Priscilla Vance
March 3, 1924 — Jan. 27, 2019
Priscilla F. “Tillie Allen” Vance, 94, of Ironton, passed away Sunday, Jan. 27, 2019, at Community Hospice Care Center, Ashland, Kentucky. The Fairborn native was born March 3, 1924, a daughter of the late Lester Ball and Bertha Rowe. She was preceded in death by her first husband of 30 years, William E. Allen Sr.; and her second husband, Lindsey Vance.
Priscilla attended Greene County Schools in Fairborn and was a former cook for the Dawson-Bryant School District, retiring in 1982. She attended Sheridan Baptist Church and the First Southern Baptist Church of South Point. She also attended Johnstown Baptist Church for 32 years, where she was a Sunday school teacher and taught the youth group there.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Carol Gubaci; a son, John Allen; seven brothers; and five sisters.
She is survived by five sons, Bill (Elaine) Allen, Sherman Allen, Tom (Donna) Allen and Bob (Gail) Allen, all of Ironton, and Larry Allen, of South Point; two daughters, Janet Sue (Jeff) Gillum, of South Point, and Sheri (Tim) Malone, of Ironton; a special daughter, Sue Lester, of Crown City; a special son, Steve Rowe, of Ironton; 23 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; 24 great-great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Janice Allen.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Phillips Funeral Home, Ironton, with pastor Paul Michael Booth officiating. Burial will follow in Melvin Cemetery and visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. To offer condolences to the family, please visit www.phillipsfuneralhome.net.

Walter Gene Bragg, 83, of South Point, died Monday, Jan. 28, 2019, at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington, West Virginia. He is survived by his wife, Linda Myers Bragg. There will be no services.
