Many thanks to all who contributed to Christmas effort

I would like to extend a heartfelt thankfulness to this great community who helped us during the month of December. Our community is such a generous people and, through their contributions, we were able to give food baskets to 470 families and new toys and winter clothes to 690 children.
Since 1945, the Mission has been helping those in need here in Lawrence County during the Christmas season. Without the thousands of friends over the years, we could never provide for those who are less fortunate. Not only did individuals assist us, but many businesses, churches, civic clubs and schools.
I would also like to thank all of the volunteers who gave hundreds of hours of their time to put the food baskets and toy baskets together. I would ask that each of you would lift us up in your daily prayers that God will continue to meet the financial needs of the Mission during the entire year. If you would like to be a monthly supporter of the Mission, you may send your gifts of love to City Welfare Mission, 710 N. 5th St., Ironton, OH 45638.
Your Mission worker,
Jeff Cremeans, Director, City Welfare Mission
