Michael Reed

Oct. 14, 1962 — Feb. 20, 2019

Michael Ray Reed, 56, of Ironton, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2019, at Community Hospice Care Center, Ashland, Kentucky. Michel was born Oct. 14, 1962, a son to the late Joe Bob Reed and Carolyn (Pauley) Fuller.
Michael was a 1982 graduate of Coal Grove High School and was a construction worker. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and liked to watch NASCAR. He was of the Baptist faith and attended Gateway Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by grandparents, Tim and Ruby Pauley and Ernest and Betty Reed.
He is survived by daughter, Bethany Jackson, of Ashland, Kentucky; sister, Rebecca (Chuck) Wheeler, of South Point; grandson, Tucker Huff, of Ashland, Kentucky; special friend, Tami Abt, of Coal Grove; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends who will miss him.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at the Tracy Brammer-Monroe Funeral Home, Ironton, with Brother Scott Jenkins and chaplain Mark Lovely officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery. Jon Cremeans

Jan. 4, 1971 — Feb. 18, 2019

Jon E. Cremeans, 48, of Ironton, died Monday, Feb. 18, 2019, at King’s Daughters Medical Center, Ashland, Kentucky.
He was born on Jan. 4, 1971, the son of the late Richard Cremeans and Bonnie Triplett, of Ironton. He was a veteran of the U.S.M.C.
Survivors include his wife, Melissa Sprlegal; four sons, Cody Cremeans, Kaelan Jack Cremeans, Bryson Jewell and Liam Cremeans; three daughters, Calli Cremeans, Hannah Maynard and Lilliana Cremeans; four brothers, Shawn Triplett, Michael Bland, Mathew Elswick and Jack Cremeans; and one sister, April Pyles.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Friday at O’Keefe-Baker Funeral Home, Ironton, with Jeromy Simpson officiating. Visitation will be 11 a.m. until the time of the service Friday at the funeral home.

 

Arthur Bell Sr.

Arthur Ray Bell Sr., 71, of Proctorville, died Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2019, at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington, West Virginia. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Knight Bell.
