Doris Davis
Jan. 17, 1929 — May 8, 2019

Doris Gene Davis, age 91, formerly of Newark, passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2019 in North Canton.
Doris was born on Jan. 17, 1928 to the late Amos and Esther (Pitts) Davis.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard L. Rose (married 42 years); a son, Larry Gene; and her beloved four brothers and four sisters.
Doris is survived by her brother, Carl Davis.
Doris enjoyed being a mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her life will continue in the family she leaves.
She is survived by her three children, daughter, Sharon Kelley, of Gahanna; sons, Richard E. Rose, of North Canton, and James Kevin Rose, of Millersport.
She has four grandchildren, Jason Kelley, Jennifer (Chris) Glover, Ethan (Ariel) Rose and Levi (Elizabeth) Rose.  She has three great grandchildren, Parker, Alayna, and Haddie, with two more expected soon.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 11 a.m.-1 pm at the Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st St., Newark.  A celebration of life funeral service will follow at 1 p.m., with Pastor Michael Rector officiating.  Burial will follow the service in Newark Memorial Gardens.

Sheila “Suzie” McFann, 60, of Wheelersburg, passed away Thursday, May 9,
2019, at Crystal Care of Portsmouth.
Suzie was born in Lawrence County on

Jared Cline
April 9, 2007 — May 6, 2019

Jared Ryan Cline, 12, of Franklin Furnace, went to be with Jesus on Monday, May 6, 2019.
Jared was born April 9, 2007, he attended school three years at East Portsmouth Elementary and his last year at Vern Riffe School for the disabled.  He made lots of friends at both schools.
Jared enjoyed playing with his toys, especially cars and trucks that made noise.
He is survived by his parents, Ron and Mary Ellen Cline, of Franklin Furnace; two grandmothers, Sylvia Cline, of Franklin Furnace, and Mary France, of Waterloo;  uncles, Randy Cline and Rob (Angela) Cline, both of Franklin Furnace,  James (Mindy) Wilson, of Willow Wood, Kevin Miller of Lexington, Kentucky, and J.D. (Elisha) Miller, of Waterloo; two special school aids Jared loved, Kerri Davis, of Wheelersburg, and Lori Morton, of Minford; plus several great aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Monday at Phillips Funeral Home, 1004 S. Seventh St., Ironton, with Pastors Roger Pierce and Gary Arthurs officiating.  Burial will follow in Haverhill Cemetery.
Visitation for friends and family will be Monday, 11 a.m. until time of the service at the funeral home.

Gladys Viglianco
Gladys Viglianco, 87, of South Point, died Monday, May 6, 2019.
Visitation will be held Monday from 6-8 p.m.at Schneider-Hall Funeral Home in Chesapeake.
Funeral service will be conducted by Father Charles Moran at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at Schneider-Hall Funeral Home in Chesapeake. Burial will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery in Huntington, West Virginia.

Tennyson Hall, 73, of Ironton, died Thursday, May 9, 2019 at Bridgeport Healthcare Center in Portsmouth. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Lou Hall.
Funeral service will be held 3 p.m., Monday at Klingel-Carpenter Mortuary, Huntington, West Virgnia.
