Sheridan area needs better upkeep

It just breaks my heart every time I drive through the small area of Sheridan.
I grew up there right near where the Holiday Inn was. At one time, that area was a good place to live.
Businesses took care of their properties, such as the Gulf Station and the Sunoco across the street. Homes were kept up fairly nice.
Now, I drive through there and it looks like a hurricane has hit.
Grandview is the worst. That’s a shame, where the economic folks are trying to get new business in, and you drive through that area. Wonder what they think?
I just feel bad for the good people of that area, who just watching the property values decrease.
I, personally, would like to see something done, but who’s to say?
