Robyn Wilson
July 28, 1968—June 3, 2019
Robyn Michelle Wilson, 50, of South Point, passed away Monday, June 3, 2019, at Hospice Care Center.
The Marion native was born July 28, 1968, the daughter of the late Carol Gannon Wilson and George Wilson, of South Point.
Robyn was a graduate of Harding High School in Marion and a former workshop specialist for Tri-State Industries, where she worked for 17 years.
She enjoyed doing crafts, spending time with her family and always placed others before herself. She was of the Christian faith.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by two uncles, Bob Gannon and Rudolph (Corky) Meadows; and a sister, Tammy Houseworth.
In addition to her father, she is survived by two daughters, Megan Wilson, of South Point, and Emily (Kayla) Patton, of Nitro, West Virginia; two brothers, James Wilson and Zachary (Destine) Wilson, both of Ironton; a granddaughter, Zoie Wilson, of South Point; and many other friends and family members who will greatly miss her.
A funeral service will be 1 p.m., Saturday at Phillips Funeral Home, 1004 S. Seventh St., Ironton, with Pastor Lenny Campbell officiating. Visitation will be 11 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday.

Doug Jenkins
Lawrence Douglas “Doug” Jenkins, Jr., 40, of Heiskell, Tennessee, formerly of Ironton, died Friday, May 31, 2019, in Methodist Medical Center, Oak Ridge, Tennessee. He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Jennifer (Linn) Jenkins, whom he married Dec. 31, 2000.
Funeral service will be 6 p.m. Saturday at Phillips Funeral Home, 1004 S. Seventh St., Ironton, with Bob Dudding officiating.
Visitation will be 4 p.m. until time of the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
