Those in downtown on Tuesday could find special items and deals that are not regularly available.

A pop-up shop took place at Community Home Health Care, Inc., featuring three vendors.

“We’re doing this for businesses around town,” Samantha Gallian, founder of Blake Wilder Boutique said, adding that the event helps those without brick and mortar locations for shoppers to visit.

Gallian was selling clothing, while Kristen Barcas offered jewelry and Carol May had bags for sale.

“Tara Boggs and Becky Young, of Community Home Health Care, have let us set up here,” Gallian said, adding that she has organized 30 such pop-up events around the region.

Her next is scheduled for Coalton First Baptist Church in Russell, Kentucky at 10 a.m. on June 22.

She said those who are interested in more information can go to Blake Wilder Boutique on Facebook.
