Lady Tigers basketball
youth camp June 24-27
The annual Ironton Lady Fighting Tigers’ youth basketball camp for grades 2-through-9 will be held June 24-27 at the Ironton High School Conley Center.
Camp fee is $20 and each camper receives a sports drink daily as well as a T-shirt at the end of the camp.
Checks should be made payable to: Ironton H.S. Athletic Dept. Persons can register the day of the camp or get a form on the city schools’ web page.
A camp photo will be taken on Wednesday. An awards ceremony will be held at 11:30 a.m. on the final day of the camp.
The camp focuses on fundamentals. Each person will be placed on a team for game competition and will participate at least 50 percent of the time in every game.

Athlete reunion planned
July 20 at SPHS stadium
SOUTH POINT — Named “The Gathering,” a reunion of former South Point High School athletes and cheerleaders — along with their families — regardless of which sport are being invited by former South Point football and baseball coach Bob Lester.
The gathering starts at noon on Saturday, July 20, at the high school football field.
Concessions will be available at the field.
Lester is looking to get a “head count” on the number of people planning to attend. If interested, contact Lester at (740) 377-4836.

SP youth basketball
camp set for July 8-10
The annual South Point youth basketball camp will be held from 9 a.m. to noon July 8-10 for any boy or girl entering grades 1-8.
Cost for each camper is $30 and each camper will receive a T-shirt and water.

Circleville Dog Days
5K race set Aug. 3
The eighteenth annual Circleville Dog Days 5K road race, presented by Red Barn, will be held at 9 a.m. Sat., Aug. 3, beginning and ending at Circleville High School.
Awards will be given to the top three in each of 34 total age groups, plus awards to the top three overall male and female finishers. Numerous door prizes also will be awarded, water and splits will be available on the course, and refreshments will be available at the finish.
Visit www.tristateracer.com for entry forms and online registration, or you can register the day of the race from 7:15 a.m. to 8:45 a.m.
There is a $15 preregistration fee ($20 on race day), and at least the first 150 registered will receive a free T-shirt.
