Kenneth Koerper

Feb. 10, 1956 – July 5, 2019

Kenneth H. Koerper, 63, of Ironton, passed away Friday, July 5, 2019, at the Saint Claire Healthcare Facility in Morehead, Kentucky.

The Ironton native was born Feb. 10, 1956, the son of the late Kenneth Ray Koerper and Rose Ann Lewis Koerper. He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Dean Koerper.

Mr. Koerper was a 1974 graduate of Dawson Bryant High School and an LPN for NECCO Care Center, where he enjoyed working with the youth and staff there. He had also previously worked at Marquette Cement Plant, where he retired after 10 years of service. He was a member of Sugar Creek Missionary Baptist Church and the Ironton Masonic Lodge.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by a brother, Terry (Annette) Koerper, a sister, Suzann (Roger) Walker; five children, Jeremy (Dakota) Wrenn, Rebecca Wrenn, Kenna (Scott) Gifford, Melanie (Ben) Mullins and Melissa Koerper; six grandchildren, Elizabeth Wrenn, Jared and Ryan Gifford, Benjamin, Bradley and Brayden Mullins; and multiple nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Phillips Funeral Home, 1004 S. Seventh St., Ironton, with Pastor Terry Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service and Masonic Rites will be conducted by Lawrence Masonic Lodge #198.

Charles Carlisle Jr.

Charles I. Carlisle Jr., 47, of Ironton, died Friday, July 5, 2019, at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital, Ashland, Kentucky.

Funeral service will be conducted at noon today at Christ Temple Church 2601 Lexington Ave. Ashland, Kentucky with visitation at 10 a.m. – noon today at the church.

Tammie Fitzpatrick

Tammie Mae Fitzpatrick, 55, of South Point, died Friday, July 5, 2019, at home.

No services will be held.

Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, is assisting the family with arrangements.
